What Is a Behavioral Assessment? Understanding the Patterns Behind Human Behavior
A behavioral assessment is a tool that measures how a person actually processes information, makes decisions, and responds to real situations — as opposed to a personality test, which measures relatively fixed traits and preferences. Instead of asking who someone is, a behavioral assessment asks how they behave, and why. If you've ever taken a personality test at work, you already know the more familiar format. Answer forty questions, get sorted into a type, receive a color, a letter combination, or an animal. It's tidy. It's shareable. And it tells you almost nothing about why you actually do what you do.
